Peadar Maxwell is a New York trained, Irish chartered Psychologist. He has a special interest in the area of ANXIETY (which leads to depression if left untreated) and he has developed training for all people including parents and professionals in how to recognise understanding and respond to the anatomy of anxiety.

We are at present witnessing anxiety sweeping through our world on a global scale.

In this workshop Peadar will teach us about the physical emotional and mental impacts on our mental and emotional wellbeing. How to recognise it, manage it and information and tools. This can be a debilitating disorder if gone untreated and unrecognised. This informative skillful workshop will promote awareness and healing through the presentation.

Teresa Murphy Moore a seasoned yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer at yogasacredspace.com, will share with you this Asana programme and therapeutic information in the form of a specific targeted Yoga Asana and Breath Practice designed to address Anxiety and Depression along with some natural supportive remedies.

Teresa took part in a special training many years ago in UCLA Medical centre with well respected Iyengar Teacher Marla Apt in the Medical Research Studies Programme on ‘Yoga for depression and anxiety’. It was the first Yoga Therapy content to be incorporated into The UCLA School of Medicine curriculum. Teresa has shared this workshop around the country and internationally with great success. You will learn the impact asana and breath works technology has on anxiety and the support from this remedial programme, the enhancement on mood is fairly instantaneous as a result of this formula.

This is a useful workshop for anyone teaching yoga and for anyone looking to understand and learn physical tools to help support students and heal. Whether you want to learn for your own personal reasons to treat and relieve the pain and discomfort of these issues or to know more and share these methods with your students or family. This workshop will enlighten and indeed lighten anyone who attends.
